Bible Stories About Trusting God In Difficult Times

It’s easy to trust God when life is going your way. You’re doing well at work, your family is healthy and happy, and you have a good circle of friends who support you. But what about when things are difficult? What happens when you lose a job or your loved one falls ill? How can we trust God in the midst of pain and suffering? These characters found themselves in difficult situations like these, but they trusted God anyway.

Noah trusted God in the midst of a storm

Noah was a man of faith, obedience, perseverance and faithfulness. He was a man who persevered in the midst of a difficult situation because he had hope that God would give him what he needed to survive another day. Noah’s story teaches us that we can trust God with our lives even when everything around us seems to be falling apart!

Abraham trusted God in the midst of a famine

The story of Abraham’s trust in God is an important one. It tells us that even when our lives are hard, we can still trust God.

When God called Abraham to leave his home and travel to a new land, he had to leave behind all of his family and friends. He also had to leave behind his country. All he knew was gone; there was no going back.

Abraham trusted God and did everything that he asked him for because he knew that it would lead him somewhere good

Joseph trusted God in the midst of slavery

Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers. He was falsely accused and imprisoned. Joseph was put in charge of the prison, but he did not forget God during any of these difficult times. God rewarded Joseph’s faithfulness through his release and reunion with his father and brothers. This story teaches us that we can trust God even when life is hard, because He will always be there for us!

Moses trusted God as he led the Israelites out of Egypt

As the leader of Israel, Moses had many difficult tasks to perform. He led his people out of bondage in Egypt and led them to Canaan, where they were supposed to settle and become a nation. Moses was God’s prophet, who spoke on behalf of God to the Israelites and the Pharaoh (a king). The Bible tells us that he walked with God before he became a prophet, so we can see that his trust was not only in what he could do but also who he was serving.

We must trust God when we have trials because He has promised never to leave us or forsake us—He will always be there for us!

Ruth trusted God when she was seeking work

The story of Ruth is found in the Hebrew Book of Ruth. She was a Moabite woman, a widow and a foreigner who had recently moved to the land where Naomi lived with her daughter-in-law Orpah (Ruth 1:1).

Ruth and Orpah had been left behind by their husbands and were seeking work in order to support themselves. They also wanted to find husbands (Ruth 1:11).

You can trust God no matter what you are going through.

  • Trust God to help you in difficult times.
  • Trust God to protect you.
  • Trust God to give you strength.
  • Trust God to help you through your problems.
  • Trust God to help you to overcome your problems.
  • Trust God to help you do the right thing, even if it’s hard or scary for a long time (like not eating food that might make us sick).

God is always with us and will never leave us. Even when the world seems like it is falling apart around us, God is there with His love and grace to comfort us. Therefore, no matter what trials we face in life, we can have faith that He will always provide a way out so long as we trust Him and believe in His power.
