Verses In The Bible About Relationship

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”

And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

God is the one who should be thanked. God is the one who has rescued us. God is the one who has brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, forgiveness of sins.

God qualified us to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light for he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into his kingdom

Love has been described as a many splendored thing and some may believe that they have experienced such a thing while others would say that they have yet to do so. Regardless of your current situation or relationship status; you can rest assured knowing that there are verses in the Bible about relationship which will guide you on how to handle certain situations or issues regarding relationships in your life today!

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

Love means having patience with others and yourself when they make mistakes or do something you don’t like them doing. Love means being kind to others even when they are mean to you because of your differences in race or beliefs. When someone hurts your feelings with their words or actions (not physical violence), one way to respond with love rather than anger would be by saying something like “You have hurt my feelings but I am going to forgive you because I love you so much!”

Love doesn’t feel jealous when other people have more than we do; instead we feel happy for them! Love also doesn’t brag about what we own or what we’ve done–we’re just glad that God has given us everything that matters most: His Spirit within us which shows itself as kindness towards others rather than selfishness!

“And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”

Love is the greatest of all virtues. It is not a virtue that can be learned or practiced. It must be received by faith as a gift from God, for He is love (1 John 4:16). Love is our highest goal and the source of all good things in our lives (1 Corinthians 13:13). We learn about love through God’s Word because it teaches us to love one another with His kind of sacrificial, selfless, redeeming, unconditional love (Romans 12:9-21).

Colossians 3:14

Colossians 3:14 says, “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”

This verse reminds us that love is what holds a relationship together and makes it strong. You see, if you don’t have love for your partner, then he or she will not be happy in the relationship. Love is that thing that makes people want to stay with each other and work through their rough patches together.

But how do you actually show this kind of love? Well, the first step is by putting yourself last—not just once in awhile but every single day! If you want your partner to be happy with you and keep coming back for more in your relationship, then make sure their needs come before yours every time! This might feel difficult at first because we’re so used to putting our own needs first (and ignoring everyone else), but if we can learn how important it is for others around us to feel loved without feeling selfish ourselves … well then maybe someday soon we won’t need anyone else around anymore either!

“Honor one another above yourselves.”

The Bible is a book of wisdom. It contains the wisest and most valuable information about our relationship to God, to others and to ourselves.

The Bible is a book of knowledge. It contains many facts on how we should relate to one another in our daily lives; it also informs us about how God relates to us as human beings and His purpose for this world that He created.

The Bible is a book of history: it gives us an accurate record of what happened during certain periods in time such as the Old Testament era or New Testament era with its historical characters like Noah, Abraham and Moses who were real people living at those times (Genesis 5:1-32).

Romans 12:10

  • Don’t be selfish.
  • Don’t be lazy.
  • Don’t be envious.
  • Don’t be arrogant.
  • Don’t be rude.
  • Don’t be irritable.
  • Don’t be resentful, for resentment is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die (Proverbs 17:14). It’s a waste of time and energy, so just don’t do it!

“A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

“A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

The Bible says that a cord made from three strands of material is stronger than one made from only one. The same goes for relationships: when you have someone on each side to help you carry the load, your relationship will be more stable and secure. If you try to go at it alone, that’s when things get tricky!

Ecclesiastes 4:12b

He also teaches that we can only find true satisfaction in God. In Ecclesiastes 4:12, Solomon urges us to remember that God is the only one who can truly satisfy us. We may achieve temporary happiness through our relationships, but they will never provide ultimate and lasting joy.

The truth is that we can’t live without love. We need it as much as water and air. It’s what keeps us going in our relationships with other people, and it’s what makes life worth living at all. The Bible is full of passages about love because this concept is so important to God; he wants us to understand that the way we treat others has implications far beyond their immediate needs or wishes. He wants us to care about them deeply—even if they don’t always return our feelings!
