Most inspirational verses in the Bible

The Bible is full of inspiring verses. They’re mostly about how you should love God with all your heart and how to live a good life. But there’s also some good stuff in this book too! Here’s a list of my favorite inspirational verses from the Book of Matthew:

Blessed are the poor in spirit.

The concept of spiritual poverty is crucial to understanding this verse. This is not a reference to the state of your bank account or the size of your house. Rather, it’s a state of mind that you can cultivate by practicing other virtues like gratitude, humility and empathy while ignoring material concerns.

In other words: poor in spirit isn’t just about having less than others—it’s about having less concern for what others have and more concern for others themselves.

In addition to being open to change, new experiences and learning from those around us, being poor in spirit also means having humility; recognizing our own shortcomings and limitations so we don’t try too hard or take ourselves too seriously when we fail (or succeed).

Blessed are they which mourn.

The Bible is full of passages that can help you get through tough times. If you’re grieving a loss or feeling overwhelmed by the many challenges life throws at you, here are some verses that will help encourage and uplift you.

Mourners weepers are often called blessed by God because they have taken their first steps on the road to healing. Grieving shows compassion, empathy, love and respect for those who have lost someone close to them. The Bible teaches us how we should treat one another as Christ would treat us if he was here in person today!

Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness.

This is a reference to the Sermon on the Mount. It’s about the importance of being righteous and living a good life, not just doing things for other people and expecting different treatment in return.

Blessed are the merciful.

“Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.” Matthew 5:7 (NIV)

In this verse, Jesus teaches that being merciful is an important part of our faith. He also says that there is a reward for being merciful—we will be shown mercy by God when we need it (Luke 6:36). Mercy means showing love to others and not holding a grudge against them even if they have wronged you in some way. It’s about forgiving others when they make mistakes and allowing them to make amends with you instead of keeping your anger inside until it hurts both of you more than necessary. When we show mercy towards those around us, we’re showing love towards God because he loves us so much that He sent His only Son into the world so that all people would be saved from their sins! Being merciful doesn’t mean always doing whatever someone wants or saying yes when they ask something unreasonable; it means choosing not to hold grudges against others even when they’ve done something wrong or hurtful because it isn’t worth causing heartache over an incident that can probably be resolved without too much trouble once everyone has calmed down enough so both parties’ feelings aren’t hurt anymore!

Blessed are the pure of heart.

The pure of heart are those who are honest and true to themselves. They have no hidden agendas or ulterior motives; they don’t play games with people’s emotions, feelings or lives. The pure of heart are good to others, not just because it feels good to be nice and kind but because they believe that all people matter and should be treated accordingly.

The pure of heart know how dangerous sin is—its ability to tear apart relationships and destroy lives—so they avoid it at all costs. They love God with all their being and therefore seek Him above everything else in life; they also love their neighbors as themselves (Matthew 22:36-40).

Blessed are the peacemakers.

  • “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.” (Matthew 5:9)
  • “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27)
  • “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35)

Blessed are they which do his commandments.

Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God.

  • -Matthew 5:9

There’s some good stuff in this book too

The Bible is a good book. And not just because it’s full of inspiring verses, or because it contains the wisdom of many generations. The Bible is good because it was written by people who were not perfect and yet had access to God’s wisdom, which they then recorded for our benefit today.

The Bible isn’t just a collection of rules, history, prophecy or wisdom; it’s a collection of all four! The Old Testament contains laws that are still applicable today if you choose to follow them. It also tells stories from thousands of years ago which provide examples for how we should live our lives today. Many prophetic passages give us insight into what will happen in the future (and some have already happened). Finally there are numerous passages throughout both testaments that contain practical advice about how we should live (doctrine), whom we should love and how we can experience life with God on earth before He comes again (hope).

In conclusion, these verses are just a sampling of what you can find in the Bible. There are hundreds more and each one is unique in its own way. I hope that you have found this list helpful in your search for inspiration.
