Praise And Worship Songs About Serving Others

Praise And Worship Songs About Serving Others

A good praise and worship song can make an entire congregation stand up and sing, dance and cry. It can lift your heart even on the worst days. And if you’re looking for new songs to play in church or at a potluck, these are perfect choices.

Here’s a list of my favorite praise and worship songs about serving others:

“It’s Your Love”- Hillsong

Hillsong – “It’s Your Love”

Let’s start with a song that is sure to lift your spirits: “It’s Your Love,” by Hillsong. This song is perfect for those who enjoy contemporary praise and worship music because it has a strong beat, which makes it easy to dance along to. The lyrics are also uplifting and encouraging, making this song perfect for any worshiper who wants their soul lifted while they’re worshiping God. For those who haven’t heard this song before, here is an example of the lyrics: “It’s Your love that makes me strong / And it’s Your love all I need.”

“My Heart Will Go On”-Celine Dion

“My Heart Will Go On” is a song that was written by James Horner and Will Jennings, and performed by Celine Dion. The song was released as part of the soundtrack of the movie Titanic in 1997. “My Heart Will Go On” won an Academy Award for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media on March 25th 1999 at the 71st Annual Academy Awards.

The song was also nominated for two Grammy Awards: Record of the Year and Song of the Year but lost both categories to “Be Without You” by Mary J Blige (1999).

“Can’t Fight The Moonlight”-Leanne Rimes

You don’t have to be a moonlit night to serve others. There are ways of serving others that you can do no matter what time of day it is. But if you want to work on helping people in the dark, “Can’t Fight The Moonlight” by Leanne Rimes is a great way to go about it. She sings about how she used to think she couldn’t fight the darkness but now knows that she can because there’s someone out there who loves her enough not just for her body but for her soul as well. She doesn’t need anyone else beside her either; all she needs is the moonlight and he will lead them both through it together

“I’ll Stand By You”-Pretenders

“I’ll Stand By You” is a song by British rock band The Pretenders. It was released as the third single from their sixth studio album, Last of the Independents (1995). It was written by Chrissie Hynde and produced by Tony Visconti.

In this song, the narrator is a woman who has been in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend for years, but she still loves him and wants to help him get better.

“Angel”-Sarah McLachlan

The song is about a woman who is struggling with her relationship. She asks for an angel to help her decide what to do and struggles with how she feels.

“I’ll Be There For You (Theme From Friends) – Rembrandts

This song is about friendship. The lyrics tell us what it means to be there for someone, and how that can make a difference in their life. If you are looking for a worship song that could be used as a theme song at church, this is one of the best songs out there. It’s powerful and inspiring!

“All My Life “-KC and JoJo

The love of a man for a woman is the subject of this song, which was written by the husband and wife duo Kandi Burruss and Kevin “KC” Cossom. It was released in 2003 as part of their debut album Love, Marriage & Divorce.

The song peaked at No. 20 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and reached No. 7 on its R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list.

“Angel of Mine”- Monica

Monica’s song “Angel of Mine” is about a girl who is waiting for her boyfriend to come home from war. She sings about how she feels lonely and afraid that he will never come home, and longs for his touch.

“No One Else on Earth” -Wynonna Judd

  • “No One Else on Earth” -Wynonna Judd
  • The song is about God, and how He’s the only one who can make you happy. The lyrics are great for singing along to when you’re feeling down, because they remind you that no matter what happens in your life, God will always love you.
  • Wynonna Judd was born into an evangelical Christian family, so it makes sense that she’d write songs about serving others! Her father ran a church choir with his wife and taught Wynonna how to sing when she was young—which explains why she sounds so good on this track.

In addition to being a talented vocalist herself (she won Best Female Vocalist at both CMA and ACM Awards), Wynonna has also written hit country songs like “Queen Latifah.” You can check out some other tracks from her album Right On Time here: http://www.amazon.com/Wynonnas-Right-Time/dp/B00LZ5V7Z8

“Baby, I Do Love You” – Linda Ronstadt

“Baby, I Do Love You” is a beautiful song about unrequited love. The lyrics are simple, but the message is clear: “I will do anything for you.” In this case, it’s a story of loving someone who doesn’t love you back because they’re not ready for a relationship yet. The singer understands that she has to wait for her true love to be ready for her and offers herself as a friend until then.

This song could be used in the service before or after the sermon or message on marriage or singleness from 1 Corinthians 7:9-11 (NLT) :

“Could Not Ask for More” – Sara Evans

  • “Could Not Ask For More” by Sara Evans is a song about the joy of serving others for God, as well as serving God for others.
  • It also has a really catchy tune!

Praise and worship songs about serving others make great music for a church potluck.

  • Praise and Worship Songs About Serving Others

These songs are great for a church potluck. They’re also good for a church service, a church picnic, or even just playing in the background of your youth group’s next party. If you’re looking for more praise and worship music to add to your playlist, try these classics:

  • “Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus” (Charles C. Converse)
  • “Savior Like The Dawn” (David Kincaid)
  • “The Lord Will Make A Way Somehow” (Samuel Medley)

All these songs are great for worship services, but they can also be played at a church potluck. The lyrics and melodies are uplifting, and they will give everyone a boost of faith in their own service to others. Even if you don’t have time to go through all the songs on this list, there are plenty of other options out there too!
