Prayer For A Mother Who Lost A Child

Prayer For A Mother Who Lost A Child

We pray for a mother who lost her child. We ask for strength to get us through this time, we beg forgiveness in our anger, comfort our hearts as we lay in bed at night crying out to You…

Almighty God, the Lord of all life, we come to you in sorrow and grief.

Almighty God, the Lord of all life, we come to you in sorrow and grief.

We know that you are the one who created us out of love. You have given us great gifts. We thank you for these gifts. Because of your generosity we can be with our loved ones, share a meal together and enjoy one another’s company. But sometimes that gift is taken away from us suddenly or unexpectedly by death. We know that this was not your plan for our lives or for those we love because you are good and loving. Even though it does not seem fair at times, there is a purpose behind everything that happens in our lives including the death of loved ones; but what is this purpose?

Oftentimes we don’t understand why things happen the way they do. We come before You asking for strength to get us through this time.

Sometimes, we don’t understand why things happen the way they do. We come before You asking for strength to get us through this time.

Our situation may seem bleak, but God is all-powerful and all-knowing, so He knows what is best for us. He can bring good out of any situation.

We believe that if we seek His will in our lives He will show us what it looks like to serve Him through this tragedy.

God is always there for us, even when we feel alone or isolated from others who are experiencing similar situations as ours. We know that He will never leave us nor forsake us no matter how dark our day gets or how hopeless it seems at times because of our circumstances or loss(es).

Take away the pain and heartache and replace it with joy and love from You, Father.

  • Take away the pain and heartache and replace it with joy and love from You, Father.
  • God is Love. He is our ultimate source of peace, hope, strength and joy. When you feel overwhelmed by your loss ask Him to give you His comfort; ask Him to give you His peace; ask Him to show you His love as only He can.
  • Allow yourself time each day to read Bible verses that will encourage you in your grief journey—a verse for every day for six months if needed!

We beg for Your forgiveness in our anger, for we know You will never leave nor forsake us.

  • We ask You to forgive us for our anger, and we pray that You will give us the grace to forgive others who are angry with us.
  • We ask You to forgive those who have caused this pain, and we pray that You will give them the grace they need to overcome their anger.
  • We beg of You, Lord, please forgive my daughter for her angry words toward me on the day she died. I know it was because she was in pain; please help her find peace and comfort now in Your arms.
  • And finally, Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me when I feel like lashing out at someone else because of my own suffering from losing my child–forgive me!

Help us to continue to trust in Your love and care for us each and every day. Forgive us when we lose faith, Father.

Dear Lord,

We thank you for the great gift of life and all that it means to us each and every day. We thank you for the love we share with each other, as well as for your divine presence and protection. We pray that you will continue to help us grow in faith during this difficult time. Help us to continue to trust in Your love and care for us each and every day. Forgive us when we lose faith, Father—and remind us that You are always there with a listening ear, ready to lend a hand when needed.

Please help our dear friend through this difficult time; give her strength as she mourns her loss while also caring for her other children who still need her support at home. Bless them all with peace of mind as they mourn their loss together as a family unit today; give them hope during these dark days so they may find some light within themselves again before long!

Comfort our hearts as we lay in bed at night crying out to You, our Lord and Savior; with faith that the day will come that we will be reunited with our loved ones.

We pray for peace and comfort as we lay in bed at night crying out to You, our Lord and Savior; with faith that the day will come that we will be reunited with our loved ones. We pray for strength to carry on as we live our lives without them. We pray for the strength to forgive those who have wronged us. We pray for the ability to forgive ourselves, knowing that this is not our fault but God’s plan for His own good purposes and glory. And finally, we pray for forgiveness from God so that He may continue working in our lives even beyond this time of grief

We pray this in Jesus name Amen

As you pray for your mother, also pray for others. Pray for your father and siblings. Pray for their spouses and children. Pray for everyone who is affected by the death of this child, not just those who are close to you.

Prayer is our way of communicating with God in a very personal way. It’s how we can communicate what we need from him, and it’s also how He communicates back with us through His Word or through someone else like your pastor or another Christian leader who has been called by God to speak into your life at that moment of need due to their unique walk with Christ that gives them an understanding of both Him as well as what He’s put each one of us through since our birth right up until now so that when something comes up like this happens they can say exactly what needs said because they know exactly what it feels like when someone dies because they experienced it themselves!

We all have different ways in which we pray but there are some basic things we should remember while praying:

  • Remember why God created man…to be his friend forever! This means that everything else comes second; work family relationships etc., all these things will pass away someday but our friendship with God lasts forever! So keep this thought firmly in mind every day no matter what happens during each day….it could save your life someday!!!

Trust God during difficult times

Trust God during difficult times.

  • Trust God even when you don’t understand.
  • Trust God even when you don’t feel like it.

I hope that this prayer helps you to feel closer to God. On top of that,
