A stroke happens when an artery that carries blood to your brain becomes blocked or bursts. The damage can happen in different ways, depending on where it happens in your brain:

- Please pray for my brother who had a stroke while he was working out at the gym. He collapsed on the floor and had surgery to take care of an aneurysm in his brain. He is doing better but needs lots of prayers that his health will be restored to full strength. My mom prayed for him as well when she was sick but now she is up in heaven with God and my dad needs all of our prayers more than ever!

Prayer for full recovery of speech and memory
The power of prayer is awesome. It can help you through the healing process, and God will be with you every step of the way.
While doctors may not know everything about how a stroke affects speech and memory, they do know that healing takes time. That’s why it’s so important to keep talking to your loved one—and asking them questions—about what they remember from before their stroke. Asking someone who has had a stroke to repeat something is a good way for them to test their memory and see if it improves over time.
It’s also important for caregivers or family members not only to listen but also encourage communication when possible by asking questions or offering suggestions about what might work better than others have done in similar situations in the past.”
