Prayer For Someone Going Into Surgery

Prayer For Someone Going Into Surgery

Dear heavenly father, we come before you today on behalf of our friend who is undergoing surgery. We pray for them and ask that you would be with them during this difficult time in their life. We pray that the surgery will go well, and that they will experience quick recovery from any pain or suffering they may face after. Grant them strength to endure this trial so that they may return home soon and enjoy full health again. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord who is alive and reigns forever with you in unity of the Holy Spirit one God forever and ever Amen

Dear heavenly father,

Dear heavenly father,

We come before you today to pray for a dear friend who is going into surgery. We ask that you protect and guide them through this time of need. We also ask that you provide comfort for their family members and loved ones as they wait for news about the surgery’s outcome.

We pray for all doctors and nurses taking care of our family member in the hospital; we ask that they have wisdom and grace while treating our loved one during this difficult time. We also pray for all staff who work at this particular hospital so that they may be able to help inspire confidence in those who are visiting their loved ones there today or tomorrow.

Finally, we pray especially hard for the surgeon performing this procedure because he/she will be responsible not only for effectively performing whatever operations may be needed on our loved one but also making sure everything goes according to plan so there are no complications down the road after surgery has taken place…and if something does go wrong during an operation (or afterwards) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let it not happen because I know nothing could ever compare with losing someone else due to negligence on behalf of another person…

Lord Jesus,

Dear Lord Jesus,

This person is going into surgery today. They are trusting in you to heal them and save them. Please take control of the situation and guide their doctors so they may give good advice to this person. Please protect them from any infections that may come about as a result of the surgery, especially if it’s something like an infection with MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) which can be deadly if not treated quickly and effectively by medical professionals with experience treating such infections. I pray for complete healing in body, mind and spirit—that no further harm comes to this person because of the surgery; that all pain will be taken away; that all fear is removed from this person’s heart; that peace fills their soul as they prepare for their procedure today; etc…

Our dearest loving God,

Dear God,

Your word says that you are the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. You are our Creator, Redeemer, Healer and Provider. You have redeemed us from sin and have healed us through your Son Jesus Christ. You have provided for all our needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus! For it is by grace we have been saved through faith in Christ Jesus! It is not by works but rather by grace (Ephesians 2:8). There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved except for the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12)!!!

We ask that you would protect him/her during this time of surgery as well as during recovery time following surgery. We also ask that if there are any complications or life threatening situations that they need healing instantly! Please watch over them while they are sleeping so nothing will disturb them.. In Jesus’ Name AMEN

Loving God,

Loving God,

We come to you today in the name of Jesus Christ and ask for your healing grace and mercy. We pray for this person’s body, mind, heart and soul as they go into surgery. We also ask that you heal their spirit with hope and courage as they recover from their illness or injury.

We believe that Your power is greater than any disease or problem that may be encountered today or in the future. So we call on You now to help this person who is going through surgery: Heal them completely; give them strength; grant them comfort; let Your light shine upon all those involved in this process—doctor(s), nurses and staff members who will be taking care of this individual during their time in recovery.

Lord Jesus, we commit to you our friend who is undergoing surgery.
