Seventh-day Adventists are a religious denomination that practices a form of Protestant Christianity. They believe in the Trinity, the divinity of Christ and salvation by grace through faith.

The denomination formed in 1863 as part of a healing revival led by William Miller, who preached that Jesus would return to Earth sometime between March 21, 1843 and March 21, 1844 (called the Great Disappointment).
