The number 8 is a significant number in the Bible. It represents new beginnings and regeneration. In this article, I will explain what the number 8 means in the Bible and how it relates to Jesus Christ and His Resurrection.

What does the number 8 mean in the Bible?

In the Old Testament, eight is a symbol of new beginnings and regeneration. The book of Genesis shows us that after God created Adam and Eve, he rested on the eighth day. This is significant because it shows that all things in creation are part of an ongoing cycle, including rest after work.

It also means that God’s work with humanity isn’t done yet: there will be more days for him to create new beginnings for his people—people who have experienced death and resurrection themselves through Jesus Christ!

EIGHT IS THE NUMBER OF NEW BEGINNINGS.

EIGHT IS THE NUMBER OF NEW BEGINNINGS.

In the Bible, the number 8 is associated with new beginnings. In Genesis 1:1-2, God created the world in seven days and rested on the seventh day. After that first creation, God created man (Adam) on the sixth day (Genesis 1:26), thus making it a week of six days followed by one day of rest—or seven days in total—which is why we have been celebrating this holiday since ancient times as “the beginning of time” or what we know today as Sunday!

So while eight may not seem like much of an event from our perspective today (it’s just another day), in ancient times it was seen as significant because its numeric value matched up with those for resurrection (resurrection has two meanings: rising from death; coming back to life).

EIGHT IS THE NUMBER OF NEW BEGINNINGS!

For example, Jesus rose again on the eighth day after his crucifixion. The Bible also tells us that God made Adam and Eve, who were created in His image, on the sixth day and then rested on the seventh day – SABBATH. Counting back seven days from Saturday (day 7) brings you to Wednesday (day 1) which was when God made mankind according to Genesis 2:7-8 (read it for yourself). And counting forward seven days from Sunday brings you back to… EIGHTH DAY: Resurrection!

Day 8 – Resurrection!

Number Eight – Jesus rose again on the eighth day after his crucifixion.

The number eight is a number of resurrection and new beginnings. In Christianity, Jesus rose again on the eighth day after his crucifixion. This was also the eighth day of the week, which is why Christians commemorate Easter on a Sunday.

The Bible has several references to this number, including:

  • “The LORD will reign forever; your God, O Zion, throughout all generations” Psalms 145:13
  • “For I know that my redeemer lives,” says Job 19:25

Day 8 – Resurrection!

The number eight is associated with resurrection, regeneration and new beginnings. When Jesus rose again on the eighth day after his crucifixion, it was a symbol of his victory over death. The number 8 also represents what we think will never happen, but God turns into an amazing reality.

8 The firstborn male of clean animals, birds, and cattle was also to be consecrated to the Lord, 9 but no substitute could be given for it if it was unclean or defective.

The number 8 represents the firstborn male of clean animals, birds, and cattle.

All firstborn male children were to be sanctified to the Lord:

  • Exodus 13:2-13 – This commandment was given to Moses by God. It stated that all firstborn males had to be sacrificed by being offered on an altar as a sacrifice to God. This included animals, birds and even human offspring (Exodus 13:1). The only exception was if it was physically deformed or blind in any way; these were not eligible for sacrifice because they would be considered unclean (Leviticus 27:26). If one chose not to offer their firstborns then they had three options: The first option was giving the money value of what their child would have been worth as an offering; this could range anywhere from $50-$750 depending on how rich your family was at that time period (Numbers 18:15). The second option would require them paying double what their child would cost if bought today ($1000-$2000 USD) and give half this amount back into helping those who cannot afford housing or food since many people struggled financially during those times due largely due rising prices caused by inflation which happens when there is too much money chasing limited goods causing prices go up exponentially without any regard for supply/demand curves we learned about in Economics 101 class back before college started costing $40k per semester with loans adding up quickly

The number 8 is a very special number in the Bible. It represents new beginnings, regeneration and resurrection. The book of Ezekiel has many references to this number and its significance as well as other books like Revelation which describes seven seals (representing seven ages) followed by an eighth seal which signifies the end times when God will return again for those who have been faithful all along.
