Bible Verses About Mothers Birthday

Mother’s Day is coming up next week, and we wanted to help you find some verses that would be meaningful for a mother’s birthday. So here they are!

1 Timothy 5:2 ESV / 4 helpful votes

Here, Paul is not saying that these widows should neglect their children. He’s saying they should look after their own families and not neglect their parents and their own needs.

Honor widows who are truly widows. But if a widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show godliness to their own household and to make some return to their parents, for this is pleasing in the sight of God.

Proverbs 31:10-12 ESV / 3 helpful votes

  • She is a good wife.
  • She is a good mother.
  • She is a good daughter.
  • She is a good sister.
  • She is a good friend.
  • She is a good neighbor.
  • She is a good employee, or she owns her own business and has worked hard at it for years, making sure that her customers are happy with the products or services that she provides for them (Proverbs 31:13).

An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life.

A good wife is hard to find. In fact, a good mother is almost impossible to find. That’s why this verse makes my list of Bible verses about mothers birthday.

My favorite part of this Bible verse is where it says “all the days of her life” because that means all day every day she does him good and not harm. She doesn’t just do something for him one time or when she feels like it; but instead does it every day without fail because she loves him so much and wants only the best for him!

That means if you want your husband/wife to trust in you then always do what is best for them and never harm them by doing anything bad like lying or stealing from them etc.. If your spouse has faith in you then at least one thing will go right in their life because they know they can count on YOU!

Proverbs 31:28 ESV / 3 helpful votes

“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.”

Motherhood is a difficult task, but it is one that God has given to women. He loves his daughters and has ordained them to carry out this sacred calling. A mother’s love should not be taken lightly or regarded as something small in the eyes of the Lord. She is praised for her hard work and diligence as well as her love and care for her family members.

Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:”

Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:

`Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.’

Listen to your father who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old. Buy truth, and do not sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding. The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him. Let your father and mother be glad, and let her who bore you rejoice!

As a parent, it’s easy to forget that you are raising human beings who will someday leave the nest. They’ll get married and have children of their own and maybe even move far away from home. But as much as you want them to find happiness in their adult lives, remember that you are still an important part of theirs.

When we grow up and start our own families, we often realize how grateful we are for our parents’ sacrifices—especially when dealing with rebellious teens like myself! So on this Mother’s Day (and every day), let’s all make sure our moms know how much they mean to us by keeping in touch with them regularly and thanking them for everything they do each day: cooking dinners during busy days at work; helping us study harder when we’re struggling in school; cheering us on at sporting events; volunteering at church activities; picking up groceries because someone forgot…the list goes on and on!
