Night Prayer For Protection Against Evil Spirits

I pray this night prayer for protection against evil spirits, because I know that the devil and his demons are prowling around tonight, seeking someone to devour.

I commit this night into Your care Father. I trust You with it and all that will happen in it tonight.

Lord Jesus Christ, keep me safe from harm, from enemies and from evil spirits who are prowling around seeking someone to devour – I resist them according to James 4:7: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Cover me with Your blood Lord so that no weapon fashioned against me will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Protect my family too as they sleep – keep my wife and children safe as they rest tonight. Thank You Father for protecting us while we sleep – I ask You to keep us awake during the day too so that we can be ready to do Your will at all times Amen!

I ask that You would equip me with the wisdom needed to discern between good and evil, so that I may always do what pleases You most—and avoid doing what displeases You most—in all areas of life including those related directly or indirectly with supernatural warfare against our spiritual enemies (Ephesians 6:10-18).
