I am writing this letter to apply for the available church worker position at your church. I have been serving as a Sunday school teacher in our local church for over 5 years and have been working with children of all ages. In addition, I have experience working as a youth group leader and counselor, which has helped me develop strong communication skills as well as an ability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds. As you can see from my resume, I am very passionate about serving God through His Church and would love the opportunity to continue doing so by being hired by your church as its new full-time administrator!

I am excited about joining the staff at Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church because it is located just outside Pittsburgh—a city that holds special meaning for me since my father grew up there. Our community is made up of families who attend school together each day; therefore our faith life can be strengthened by their presence at events such as Vespers or Sunday School Open House Night each month where parents are invited into classrooms alongside their children during lessons on Scripture memorization skills (such as “Jesus Wept”!) between classes.”
