Bible Verses About Nieces And Nephews

Bible Verses About Nieces And Nephews

Nieces and nephews are great. They’re like extra little siblings, except they aren’t related to you. In this article, we will look at a few Bible verses about nieces and nephews that you can use to convince your sister or brother-in-law that you’re right about this.

1. Ephesians 6:1-3

The Bible clearly teaches that parents are to teach their children: “Parents, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4). As part of this instruction, it is important for parents to teach their children to obey. If a child does not know how or when to obey, then he or she will have a hard time understanding the concept of honor and respect toward others (Proverbs 13:24).

To avoid confusion about what obedience should look like in specific situations, God has given examples throughout Scripture that can help guide us in raising our own children. For example, we find Jordan Wright’s article helpful because it presents several practical examples from Biblical history and also gives some helpful advice on how you might respond if you see these actions being modeled by adults around you.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother” — which is the first commandment with a promise — “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”

2. Psalm 127:3-5

Psalm 127:3-5 says, “Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.”

This passage is talking about how children are like weapons in God’s hands; they’re a tool he uses to fight evil and protect his people. Your niece or nephew can grow up to do great things for God, so you should pray they become warriors who fight evil and protect others.

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

  • SONS ARE A HERITAGE FROM THE LORD

If you have a son or daughter, they are a blessing from God and an inheritance to be accounted for. The Bible tells us that “sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one’s youth… Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them” (Psalm 127:3-5). As long as we continue to trust in God and obey His commands, He will continue to bless us with children who love Him.

3. Matthew 18:10

Matthew 18:10 (NIV)

“See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.”

“See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

“See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.”

  • Matthew 18:10

It’s easy to think of our nephews and nieces as less important than our own children, but God doesn’t hold them any lower than His own children. So if God values their life so highly, we should too.

4. Deuteronomy 6:5-7

  • Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
  • Love your neighbor as yourself.
  • Love the stranger, for you were strangers in Egypt.
  • You shall not wrong or oppress a resident alien; you know the heart of an alien, for you were aliens in Egypt.
  • For six years you are to sow your fields and gather in their produce; but during the seventh year the land is to have a sabbath rest—a sabbath to the LORD.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up

  • Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
  • You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when thou risest up.

nieces have angels

When you think of angels, it’s easy to imagine them as giant and powerful warriors. This can be true in some cases, but most often angels serve as our protectors and teachers. Nieces and nephews are no exception! They’re always surrounded by their own personal guardian angel who will help them navigate the world around them.

This is what makes these relationships so special: God has given your niece or nephew a special guardian angel just for them, but you also have one for them too! When you spend time with your niece or nephews, your guardian angels will watch over both of you at once. Nothing can harm either one of you while together because God has put His protection around all three of us—your niece or nephew included!

We hope you enjoyed reading these Bible verses about nieces and nephews! They are a great reminder of the importance of family, and the fact that we should be kind to everyone.
